Anchorage and surroundings in Kamýk nad Vltavou.
The first anchorage in front of the centre is by the multifunctional playground, where there is a football field and children’s playground, fireplace. There are also Apartments u Kapličky and a restaurant with a guest house, which is open in the afternoon.
The second pier is already in the centre about 1km before the lock. Cross the bridge and you will find restaurants, a petrol station, grocery store, a large playground and a great ice-cream parlour with a pastry shop – the Angel’s Playroom. There is a nice pub with good beer a short walk from the pier and last year there was a snack stall at a family house. Ideal stop if you want to go to the lock in the morning.If you want to stay, there is a guesthouse right across the road from the pier.
There is also a new mooring project in Kamýk.
