Ingredients for 4 people :
800g fish, depending on what you catch or buy
Vegetables – fresh or frozen /peas, carrots, corn 300g
Mushrooms approx. 8pcs
Couscous 300g
Butter, olive oil, salt , pepper
1 pan, couscous pot, water
Clean the fish, fillet, cut into smaller strips, salt and pepper.
Put the butter in a hot pan, add the mushrooms, after a few minutes add the fish and the last vegetables. If necessary, we can add more butter.
Pour the couscous into the pot, season with salt, pour hot water about 4dcl and cover with a lid. Check in 3 minutes, top up the water a little at a time. If you have broth instead of water, this is obviously a much better option.
Put the couscous, vegetables with mushrooms and fish on a plate, pour the butter broth, if the couscous is too dry for you you can drizzle it with a little olive oil. We can also serve family style in a pan and the couscous in a pot directly on the table. We can add a seasonal salad to taste. Then we have finished a delicious seared fish with vegetables and couscous. Roasted fish with vegetables and couscous is a tasty healthy and, above all, nutritious dish. And the best part is that this dish doesn’t take much time.
