on technical inspections of small vessels in localities within the territorial jurisdiction of the Děčín branch for the year 2022
In 2022, small craft technical inspections will only be carried out under certain conditions. These inspections will be conducted either at the State Navigation Administration headquarters in Děčín VI on Husitská street, or at designated locations as indicated in the attached exit plan. It is worth noting that these inspections will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays during regular office hours, and will be divided into two time slots from 08:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:00. Therefore, boat owners must plan ahead and ensure they have enough time to comply with these specific conditions. Furthermore, failure to comply with these regulations may result in additional complications and potential penalties.
For the selected date of the technical inspection for a vessel registered in the register of small vessels, the applicant shall register using the ordering system „On line ordering for technical inspections“.
Registration and Technical Inspection Requirements for Newly Registered Small Vessels
- When a vessel is newly registered in the small vessels register, the applicant must contact the State Navigation Administration to register for a technical inspection. This can be done either by telephone or email. To schedule a specific date and time, the applicant must provide information about the type of vessel, the selected location, the name of the owner or operator, and the telephone contact of the person who will be present at the inspection. It’s important to note that failure to comply with these requirements may result in delays and potential penalties, so it’s essential to follow the correct procedure.
On line ordering for technical inspections:
- The system allows ordering an already registered small vessel for technical inspection in selected locations within the territorial jurisdiction of the branch of the State Navigation Administration in Decin.
- The ordering system can be accessed via the website of the State Navigation Administration, under the tab „Vessel documents“ and the link On line ordering for technical inspections.
To carry out the actual technical inspection, the applicant must:
- bring the technical condition of the vessel into compliance with the provisions of the applicable legislation, in particular Decree No. 334/2015 Coll., the text of the Decree and other regulations relevant for inland navigation is given at the link here,
- to deliver a fully rigged and equipped vessel, including a propulsion unit,
- submitted to
- a completed application for a vessel document (forms can be downloaded from the link http://plavebniurad.cz/dok-pl/formulare,
- the ship’s certificate issued (for periodic technical inspection)
- documents necessary to carry out the initial technical inspection of the vessel before registration of the vessel in the navigation register, see http://plavebniurad.cz/dok-pl,
- valid certificates for designated technical installations for electrical, gas, pressure and lifting equipment, if such equipment is installed on the vessel. The relevant UTZ certificates are issued by inspectors listed in the list published by the State Navigation Administration, see http://plavebniurad.cz/dok-os/inspektor-utz/seznam-inspektoru-utz.
- pay the administrative fee – the amount of the administrative fee is determined by the Tariff of Act No. 634/2004 Coll., on administrative fees, as amended, items No. 38 and No. 39.
There is a maximum number of technical inspections per term or day. The approximate time of the inspection will be determined by the technician and communicated to the applicant for newly registered vessels in the register of small vessels by telephone or e-mail, for vessels ordered by on-line ordering for technical inspection by SMS message to the specified telephone number.
- In the interests of economy and efficiency, technical inspections will be carried out in priority at the designated small craft assembly points listed in the attached schedule. Outside these locations, inspections will only be carried out:
- in the case of simultaneous inspections of at least three vessels, provided that this does not interfere with the schedule of technical inspections in the area,
- in other justified cases, e.g. inspections of difficult-to-transport vessels and vessels under construction.
For the same reasons, the State Shipping Administration reserves the right to cancel the scheduled date of departure if less than 3 vessels are registered.
